Mercury Marine continues to grow its presence in key saltwater markets such as a record-setting presence in the 2018 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show. Mercury outboards accounted for nearly half of all engines in the on-water screen at last week's show and had greater outboard engines on screen throughout the entire display than another Outboard Motor Cylinder Gasket Supplier. For two successive years, Mercury's existence on OEM-selected ships has increased by close to 25 percent every year in FLIBS, highlighting consistent year-over-year growth in the show fueled by the success of Mercury's new goods. Mercury Marine has continued to see strong share profits at key saltwater boat shows within the last few years, emphasized by new partnerships with key OEMs who are displaying Mercury outboards, some for the very first time. "To kick off the North American boat show season with almost half of the on-water boats on display embracing Mercury outboards is a powerful statement that customers are demanding Mercury engines," said John Pfeifer, Mercury Marine president. "Both our mainline and Mercury Racing 2 Stroke Outboard Motor 3.5hp continue to grow in demand in key saltwater markets also it was great to hear from customers in Ft. Lauderdale who are requesting for Mercury four-stroke power." Besides consumer need, Mercury has benefit from expanded or new relationships with international boat builders who are building ships exclusively with Mercury outboard power. Beneteau announced two brand new boat models including the Antares outboard line which will exhibit Mercury's V-6 outboards completely. Other brands showcased multiple Mercury outboards including Nor-Tech who showcased Mercury completely including two ships with quint-400R racing outboard engines, a 450 Sport plus a 452 Super Fish.
